What is Wireman in ITI?
Wireman is a 2 years job-oriented technical course which offers study about electricity, various laws about electric current, types of electric current, basic electronics, motors, and many terms related to electricity. In this course, you will also be taught to use different tools and equipment, which are used in wiring. You will be given theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge.
You will be taught about wiring, circuit making, power connection, wiring maintenance and many more through practical training. In this course, you will also be taught about costing, which wire and how much wiring will cost. You will understand in depth the technique of wiring such as how many layers are there in the wiring and what material is used in those layers.
You will also get to know about all the safety measures and precautions when doing wiring or any hazardous work.

Wireman ITI Course Duration
The Duration of the ITI wireman course is 2 years and the time period of 2 years is further divided into 4 semesters. Each semester consists of 6 months of duration i.e. ITI wireman course duration is 24 months. ITI Wireman Course Fees
ITI wireman course fee depends on the institute in which you want to take admission as the wireman ITI course fee varies with the type of the institute. Let me give you an idea of wireman ITI fees which is based on my experience. SC/ST category students get fewer fees than general and OBC category students.

ITI Wireman Admission 2023
The admission procedure for the ITI wireman course fluctuates from state to state because some states take admission to government ITI colleges on the basis of merit lists whereas some take admission by conducting an entrance test. For example, West Bengal conducts an entrance test for taking admission to ITI courses in government ITI colleges and in states like Jharkhand admission to ITI courses is done on the basis of a merit list which is released by JCECEB.
Note:- Registration fees may be charged at the time of form submission.
The application form for admission is generally released in the month of May and finishes the admission process till the month of July.
